Yeah I have the same one, got mine at Thailand last year though. Works great and I preffer LCD's over CRT's mainly because there bulky and take up soo much room!

Woah! Lot's of good advice here. Thanx all

Just a quick question - apart from the ms (ie 8 ms, 16 ms) of LCD's, is there anything else I really need to be aware of when buying one?

Oh, and I've heard (gotta love rumor's & 3rd party talk.. LOL) that 17" LCD's have a clearer / more-defined image than 19" LCD's.. any truth to that? (to be honest.. I doubt it.. but who knows..) I believe they said somethign about the dot pixels or such being closer together on 17" than the 19".. or something to do with that...

Short answer, No. Long answer, No.

If your getting a new monitor, make sure it's 8ms response time, max, make sure it's 8 or below.

If you can spend $265.99, then get this ViewSonic VX922 Black/Silver 19" 2ms LCD Monitor!

That things a bargain, not only is it 19", it's a good brand, and 2ms response time!
